Gravity die casting or permanent moulding, is a permanent moulding process. Molten metal is poured in a metal mould (cavities) and taken out after solidification. Intricate internal shapes are cast by using sand cores, shell cores. Aluminium alloys, copper alloys, Brass have widely used metals in gravity die castings.
