trim tools design
This is a secondary finishing operation of pressure die castings. Trim tools are widely used nowadays to cut the gate and overflows from the die-cast shot. Not only straight cutting is employed but also punching the flashes inside the holes. Trim tools come under pressing operation. The tool is placed on top of the Trimming machine-either a standard one or custom built to suit the specific needs. Design of Trim tools can be learned.
